Building Deleg8 has been an exhilarating ride, filled with highs, lows, and... an unexpected companion: loneliness.
While I've been pouring my heart and soul into this venture, I've also been missing the buzz of co-workers, the shared coffee runs, and, frankly, any reason to wear something other than pajamas.

Chicago, my beloved city, you're as cold outside as my home office feels without the chatter of colleagues. Spending too much time indoors, I've started considering my plant as a team member. We're on a first-name basis now. (Meet Phil, my leafy strategist.)

Now, the logical solution would be to join a co-working space, immerse myself in the energy of like-minded souls, and finally change out of my PJs. But here's the kicker: bootstrapping Deleg8 means my current income is as tangible as Chicago's summer sunshine in Decemberโnonexistent.

So, here I am, sharing my journey, embracing the solitude, and looking for creative ways to feel less isolated without breaking the bank.
I try to remind myself that building a startup is as much about the journey as it is about the destination. And sometimes, it's okay to admit you need a bit more human interaction than my (almost dead) houseplants can offer.
